In a rush? This devilled meatballs recipe by Aunty D is saucy, juicy and an easy fix to pair as a side dish to your drink or even plain rice!
Here’s how you make it!
Tomato Sauce 2 tbsp
Salt ¾ tsp
Pepper ½ tsp
Chilli Flakes 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Ginger + Garlic 1 tbsp
Water ¼ cup
Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
Onion 1 large
Capsicum 1 large
Green Chilli 3 nos
Tomato 1 large
Deep fry the meatballs over high heat.
To make your glaze, add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, chilli flakes, sugar, ginger, garlic and water to a pan.
Add soy sauce to the mixture, stir and throw in the fried meatballs.
Mix to coat the meatballs with the glaze and add chopped onions, capsicum, green chilli and tomato.
Finally, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice to the dish, stir and take it off the heat. Enjoy!
