A delicious Sri Lankan curry! Check out our Thalana Batu Curry recipe below.
Ingredients:
- Thalana Batu 300g
- Onion 1 small
- Green chilies 2
- Salt 1/3 tsp
- Chili powder ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
- Curry powder ½ tsp
- Curry leaves/rampa
- Garlic 5 cloves
- Coconut milk 1 ½ cups
- Roasted mustard seeds ½ tsp (ground)
Method:
1. Clean Thalana Batu and place in a pan
2. Then add onion, green chilies, salt, garlic, chili powder, curry powder, turmeric powder, coconut milk, and curry leaves.
3. Add coconut milk and cover the lid. Cook on a low flame.
4. When it has cooked, add ground roasted mustard seeds and switch the cooker off.
