To be honest, I have never managed to master the skill of playing football, mostly because I was afraid I would trip over the ball at some point. However, that never stopped me from liking the sport, and when the FIFA World Cup comes around every 4 years, not unlike every football fan in the world, I get pretty excited.

When the FIFA World Cup rolls in, any football fan would love to call over some friends, gather around a screen, knock back a pint, and cheer on the team they support. Playtrix at Colombo Racecourse

The Kings Bar at The Kingsbury is also another location known to screen many a match (mainly cricket), and will be showing the world cup matches on their big screen until the 15th of July. Colombo Court Hotel & Spa
