Sri Lanka is known worldwide for its prowess in hospitality and Ceylon City Hotel in Colombo made Sri Lanka proud at the recently held World Luxury Hotel Awards in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Ceylon City Hotel bagged two prestigious awards in two categories, Luxury City Hotel, and Luxury Family Hotel in Sri Lanka.
A continuation of their winning streak, Ceylon City Hotel previously won the award in 2016 as well. Located in Bambalapitiya, it is highly well-known across Colombo and Sri Lanka. The hotel is comprised of three rooms, namely the Junior Suite, Deluxe, and Standard rooms. Each room consists of King Size Beds, a Mini Bar, 32 LCD TV with satellite connection, Air Condition, Spacious Sofa, Coffee Table, TV Table, Dressing Table and Hospitality tray with tea coffee making facilities! With 24-hour room service, a uniquely designed lobby, and a coffee shop, Ceylon City Hotel has truly earned their place amongst the World’s Best Hotels.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards is the pinnacle of recognition of accomplishment by a hotel in the luxury hospitality industry. It consists of over 60 categories and public votes decide the awarded hotels, with over 300,000 votes from travelers and guests this year!
