Cooking with Aunty D.
Cutlets are a must at any get-together Sri Lankans have. They are delicious and you can get have enough of it! So grab your ingredients and utensils and get cooking!
Ingredients:
- Tuna fish 250 g
- Thalapath 250g
- Potatoes 250g
- Pepper 2 tsp
- Onion (large) 1
- Green chillies 4
- Garlic 5 cloves
- Chilli flakes 2 tsp
- Salt 1 1/2 tsp
- Lime juice 2 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Bread crumbs
- Fortune Coconut Oil
- 2 eggs
Method:
- Boil potatoes.
- Boil fish while adding a little salt and pepper.
- Heat saucepan. Add a little Fortune Coconut Oil and add onion, garlic, curry leaves and green chillies.
- Mash the boiled potatoes and chop boiled fish. Add salt, pepper, chilli flakes and lime juice.
- Add this to the onion- garlic mixture and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Make balls. Egg-wash and coat with bread crumbs.
- Deep fry in Fortune Coconut Oil until golden brown.
