The Vision of NLSC 2018 is : “Grooming the next generation of legal practitioners and academics by empowering the law students of the millennial”
To achieve this goal the delegates will be stimulated intellectually through incorporated panel discussions, workshops and breakout sessions based on pressing socio-economic and political issues that are inter-linked with legality. This conference will provide a platform for interaction and networking with fellow law students across the country, renowned professionals from the field of law and experts from a myriad of fields, giving the participants a view into the practical aspects of the legal field in the very environs of Hultsdorf.
The problems, discussions and proposal of the conference will be generated as an outcome document, which will be formulated by the delegates themselves and later circulated to the Chief Justice, Attorney General, The Parliament of Sri Lanka and other stake holder, as a list of recommendations from the law students of the country to tackle persistent socio-economic and political problems in the country.
Law students can apply for this conference by filling in the application available and accessible to all as a Google document. For further information and assistance the delegates can contact Imihiri Weeraratne – +94766819201 or Shihara Ekanayaka- +94770073351.
Early bird registration has expired, but registration is still open at a nominal fee of Rs. 2750.00 which entitles applicants to two days of conference as well as the after party “Legally Addicted” at Waters Edge – Battaramulla
