TRICS is a CSR project organized by Sri Lanka Model United Nations 2017 in partnership with the Interact District 3220 of Sri Lanka and in collaboration with the Interact Clubs of St. Peter’s College and St. Joseph’s College, the United Nations Club of Ladies’ College and the Interact Club of Colombo.
The event focuses in making a cost-free platform for emerging young artists who lack opportunities to showcase their talents to come forward. TRICS is set to be held on the 29th of September 2017 from 7.00pm onwards at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre.
TRICS will feature a line up of acclaimed stars including Kharesma Ravichandran. Young dancers and singers will take centre stage at TRICS. To spice things up, there will also be a surprise element especially aimed at the audience! So make sure to be there and find out what the surprise is!
The organizers of TRICS have not forgotten about food! Along with good music, TRICS promises an array of mouth-watering food, which will be available for you at the food fiesta which will be held throughout the evening!
Good food, good music- sounds promising? Or not yet convinced? Well, TRICS is not just an event to help you wind up after a long week and relax, but it is an event for a cause. All funds raised through the event will be in aid of the National Institute of Mental Health, Sri Lanka. SLMUN is not just a youth simulation of the UN, but wants to be able to follow the footsteps of the United Nations to help people, and give the opportunity for the youth to do so.
So, come on, bring your friends and family along for an evening filled with good food and music along with surprises! Do remember whatever proceeds from this event is going to a good cause, so join us at TRICS for a fun and relaxing evening, and also to raise awareness of mental health.
