Black Pork Curry has always been a crowd favourite – here’s how you can make it in your very own kitchen!
Ingredients:
- Pork 500g
- Onion 1 (medium)
- Chili Powder 2tsp
- Pepper 1tsp
- Ginger and Garlic 1tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1/3 tsp
- Goraka (3 cloves)
- Fenugreek Seeds 1/2 tsp
- Cardamom 3
- Cloves 4
- Green Chili 2
- Water 2 1/2 cups
- Salt 1.5 tsp
- Curry Leaves 1
- Roasted Black Curry Powder (Kalu Kudu) ½ tsp
- Rampe and Cinnamon
Method:
- Wash and cut the pork into cubes.
- Add chili powder, pepper, turmeric, goraka, ginger, garlic, fenugreek seeds, cardamom, cloves, green chilies, cinnamon, curry leaves and salt.
- Mix everything well.
- Add water and cook.
- Finally, when it is ready, add the roasted black curry powder (kalu kudu) and switch the cooker off.
