AIESEC Sri Lanka is currently hosting the largest island-wide leadership development program, ‘Amplifier 2022’, focusing on developing and exploring the youth’s inner leaders!
AIESEC, Sri Lanka is part of a global platform for young people to develop their leadership potential through international internships and volunteer opportunities. Founded in 1948 and currently present in 110+ countries and territories, AIESEC is a non-governmental, and not-for-profit organization entirely run by youth for youth. AIESEC Sri Lanka was established in 1995, as a member chapter of AIESEC International. It has successfully engaged and created a positive impact on the world, shaping it for a better future through its exchange and membership opportunities.
Amplifier 2022 conducted by AIESEC Sri Lanka, kicked off on the 4th & the 6th of December through its induction which saw the participation of school leavers and undergraduates, and will run its course until the 15th of January. In essence, Amplifier aims to encourage individuals to step up and make a difference through a series of boot camps, sessions and workshops for youths in every district in Sri Lanka.

Here’s what you can expect from Amplifier 2022:
- Training 01 – 11th December 2022
- Training 02 – 14th December 2022
- Workshop – 18th December 2022
- Assessment Day 01 – 21st December 2022
- Assessment Day 02 – 8th January 2023
- Open Discussion & Award Ceremony – 15th January 2023
The first training session will focus on knowledge-sharing and critical thinking to inspire the Amplifier crowd through challenging experiences. The second training session will delve into letting your voice be heard as a leader to fellow members, the community and the general public.
In correlation with the training sessions, a workshop will follow as a practical event to let delegates test the waters with what they’ve learnt.
The two-fold assessment will firstly; allow delegates to present their ideas on different topics related to leadership, and secondly; compare and review the various insights presented by each other.
The program will conclude with an open discussion where delegates will be put into teams to provide solutions to a prevailing problem in society, followed by the awards ceremony to recognize the participants for their relentless contribution and enthusiasm towards addressing national and international development.
