Kess was founded by Vasantha De Dilva in 1992 and despite being one of the most expensive hair stylists in Sri Lanka, Vasantha’s touch is pure MAGIC! Arq Style House
Located on Bagatalle road, you feel like you’re within the pages of a very expensive magazine! The interior is gracefully designed to be minimalistic and pleasing, and the hairstylists and makeup artists here are all qualified to give you the look of your dreams (with a hefty price tag of course!). Arq is also very homely, filled with smiles, and you are greeted with a cup of tea or coffee until it is your turn to be glammed.
The first meeting with a well-known hairdresser or fashion stylist is really a consultation. Each service and request is based on the customer’s personality. The stylist must therefore establish a special link with the customer to understand their expectations, and to guide them without imposing anything.

Founded by hair guru Gerald Solomons, Chagall is also another super pricey but SUPERB spot to get diva looking hair and a makeover to die for! I have personally gotten my makeup done here and trust the experience of these makeup artists, I went to the extent of not wanting to take off my makeup!! Again, experience gained from highlighted events such as Fashion Week and Making of a Model hosted by Art TV (one of the most coveted models in Sri Lanka, Shenelle Rodrigo was discovered through this).
