Kiribath (Milk Rice) Recipe | Cooking with Aunty D

Ingredients

  • Raw red or white rice 2 ½ Cups 
  • Water 4 Cups
  • Thick Maggi Coconut Milk 2 Cups (Maggi Coconut Powder 4 tbsp + Water 2 Cups)
  • Salt 1 tsp

 

Method

  1. Thoroughly rinse the raw rice.
  2. Pour 4 cups of water into the rice to cook.
  3. Once cooked, add in the thick Maggi coconut milk and salt.
  4. Stir well, close the lid, and leave the rice to cook under a low flame for 15-20 minutes, or until the Maggi coconut milk is dissolved.
