Ingredients:
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Boiled Water 3 cups
- Vinegar 1 cup + 1/2 cup
- Small Red Onions 250g
- Large onion (Cubed) 1
- Carrots 150g
- Pepper 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
- Green Chilli 250g
- Capsicum 150g
- Raw Papaya 100g
- Salt 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp
- Mustard Powder
- Garlic 3 cloves
Method:
- Boil water and add 1 cup vinegar. The add 1/2 cup salt and let it boil. mix for 1 minute.
- Add green chillies, capsicum and raw papaya to the boiling water and keep for 2-3 minutes.
- Put small red onions, large onion (cubed) and carrots to the strainer and pour boiled chillies o top of the onions.
- In a separate clay pot, mix vinegar, salt, raw mustard powder, pepper, turmeric powder, ginger and garlic. Mix well and add correct seasoning. Then add boiled ingredients(let the dry completely for 15-30 minutes) to the vinegar mixture and mix well using a wooden/plastic spoon. Marinate it overnight.
