Ingredients:
Butter 125 g
Sugar 125 g
Egg 3 nos
Vanilla 5 ml
Flour 100 g
Cocoa Powder 10 g
Baking Powder 6 g
Baking Soda 2 g
Nestle Milo Powder 80 g
Milk 1 tbsp
For Icing:
Butter 200 g
Icing Sugar 350 g
Nestle Milo powder 150 g
Cocoa Powder 25 g
Vanilla 10 ml
Method:
In a bowl, add some butter and sugar.
Give it a good whisk while adding 3 eggs one at a time before vanilla.
Moving to the dry ingredients, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and Nestle Milo powder before mixing the ingredients and sifting them.
Next, add part of the dry ingredients into the wet mixture along with milk
Fold the mixture to combine the ingredients well.
Proceed to add the remaining dry ingredients before giving it a good mix once again.
Pour the mixture into cupcake paper cups and pop it into the oven.
While the cupcakes are baking, it is time to prepare the icing.
Add butter and blend it using an electric whisk.
Next add icing sugar and blend once again.
Proceed to add Nestle Milo powder, cocoa powder and vanilla into the mixture before blending the ingredients again.
When the cupcakes are ready and have cooled down, add the icing on the cupcakes using a piping bag and serve!
