Sri Lankan tea at heart of Atelier Cologne’s ‘Collection Orient’

2016 Apr 11

Black tea and green tea from Sri Lanka, and powdery iris from China are at the heart of Philtre Ceylan, a part of the new cologne range, Collection Orient, launched by Atelier Cologne, founded by Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel.
There are five colognes absolue, or pure perfumes, in the Collection Orient.

The woody citrus cologne gives a nuanced sensation marked by a symphony of notes. Ceylon tea is the key ingredient of the fragrance, surrounded by sweet green tea from Sri Lanka and powdery iris from China.

The composition’s opening provides fresh and sparkling flavors of bergamot from Calabria, with a hint of the aromatic spearmint from India and the warm cardamom from Guatemala.

The base is warm and woody thanks to the mixed accords of cumin from India, gaiac wood from Paraguay and papyrus from India.

Spray 200 ml – HK$2,800
Spray 100 ml – HK$1,950
Ecrin Absolu 200 ml + 30 ml + leather case – HK$3,100
