2017 Jan 13

So it’s the first Friday the 13th of 2017 (mind you, there are quite a few coming up this year) and like any decent human being with slightly psychopathic tendencies, you’re planning on spending this wild Friday night with a few quality horror movies.

Yeah, yeah the Sri Lankan palette is tougher than most and we would probably yawn at an average jump scare so we decided to test the waters ourselves. So be it a marathon-party with friends or a solitary-spooked-out night, here’s a list of tried and tested, top 13 horror movies.

  1. It follows

Synopsis:‘doing the deed’ and horror movies have to have some kind of scientific correlation, I swear. This movie is centered around a supernatural entity that follows a young woman, after a one night stand with a stranger. This is why one must always use protection, kids. Carry around the pill. Or a priest.

  1. You’re Next

Synopsis: The Davison family, trapped in their own home by a trio of masked men, being murdered one by one. A fairly new movie, the scariest thing about “You’re Next” is that it could totally happen to anyone. Munch on that to keep the horrors alive.

And the curse will never forgive.
