Tuna White Curry

Here’s a yummy seafood Lankan curry you can have with your rice! Get cooking!

Ingredients:

  • Tuna 500 g
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Onion (small) 1
  • Green chillies 2
  • Ginger 1/2 inch
  • Cinnamon stick 1/2 inch
  • Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cloves 2
  • Cardamoms 2
  • Coconut milk (first & second extract) 1 cup each
  • Curry leaves and rampa
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Curry powder 1 tsp
  • Goraka 1
  • Tomato (medium) 1
  • Oil 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Wash and cut the fish into cubes.
  2. Heat oil and add onion, garlic, ginger, curry leaves, rampa, fennel seeds, green chillies, cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms, turmeric and salt. Fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add coconut milk (second extract) and add chilli powder and curry powder.
  4. Add goraka and tuna pieces.
  5. Add coconut milk (first extract).
  6. Add tomatoes and cook for 10-15 mins.
