Cooking with Aunty D.
As the name says, the Queen of all puddings it’s a trip around the world of desserts. Try it at home and you’ll keep wanting more. Ideal to impress your guests at any dinners at home, this dessert is sure to put you in the spotlight of cooks.
Ingredients:
- Condensed milk 1 small can
- Eggs 4 + 2
- Sponge cake 200g
- Vanilla 1 tsp + 1 tsp
- Sugar 150g
Method:
- Cut sponge cake into 1 1/2 diameter cubes
- Whisk 4 eggs
- Add eggs to the condensed milk and whisk
- Add vanilla 1tsp
- Place the sponge cake in a buttered dish
- Strain the egg/milk mixture on to the sponge cake
- Microwave for 12 minutes
- Stiffly beat egg whites and add sugar
- Place this meringue top of the pudding
- Brown in oven at 180 c° ( get the brown colour only to the upper part of the pudding)
