Cooking with Aunty D.
Craving a bit of beer and chicken? Well, here’s how you can make Beer Battered Chicken at home! Get frying!
Ingredients:
- Chicken breast 1
- Paprika 1 1/2 tsp
- Pepper 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 1/4 tsp
- Egg 1
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Lion Lager Beer 1/2 cup
- Flour 100 g
- Oil
- Baking Powder 1 tbsp
Method:
- Rinse and slice chicken breast into 1 inch strips.
- Stir together flour, paprika, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
- Mix egg and cold beer. Then add chicken and allow to marinate for 20 minutes.
- Place 1/2 cup of flour in a small bowl. Coat chicken strips with the flour.
- Heat oil and fry the chicken strips until golden brown.
