Beer Battered Chicken

Craving a bit of beer and chicken? Well, here’s how you can make Beer Battered Chicken at home! Get frying!


Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast 1
  • Paprika 1 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 1/4 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Lion Lager Beer 1/2 cup
  • Flour 100 g
  • Oil
  • Baking Powder 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Rinse and slice chicken breast into 1 inch strips.
  2. Stir together flour, paprika, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  3. Mix egg and cold beer. Then add chicken and allow to marinate for 20 minutes.
  4. Place 1/2 cup of flour in a small bowl. Coat chicken strips with the flour.
  5. Heat oil and fry the chicken strips until golden brown.
