Onion Pakoda

A delicious Indian snack! Check out our quick and easy recipe for onion pakoda below!

Ingredients:

  • Onion 1 large
  • Green chilies 2
  • Ginger paste ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Gram flour 2 tbsp (Besan flour)
  • White rice flour 1 tbsp
  • Oil to fry

Method:

  1. Put thinly sliced onions into a bowl. Then add all the ingredients except oil.
  2. Mix very well to coat all the ingredients with the onions.
  3. Leave this aside for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat to prepare for deep frying.
  5. When the oil is heated, add a spoonful of the pakoda mixture.
  6. Fry until golden brown.
