This Avara Curry is sure to tickle your taste buds when you enjoy it with some good ol’ red rice! Get cooking!
Ingredients:
- Avara 250 g
- Onion (small) 1/2
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Maldive fish 1 tsp
- Green chilli 1
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Curry powder 1/2 tsp
- Chilli flakes 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
- Thick coconut milk 1/3 cup
- Curry leaves & rampa
- Oil 2 tsp
Method:
- Clean and cut avara.
- Heat oil and add onion, curry leaves & rampa, garlic, maldive fish, green chillies, turmeric powder and chilli flakes.
- Then add avara and mix well.
- Mix salt, chilli powder and curry powder. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes..
- Add coconut milk and cover with lid. Cook on a low flame.
