Chicken Stew with Carrot and Potato | Cooking with Aunty D

Ingredients:

Oil 1 tbsp

Cumin Seeds 1/4 tsp

Cardamom 3

Cinnamon 1 inch

Fenugreek 1/2 tsp

Garlic 3 cloves

Big Onion 1 small

Curry Leaves + Rampe

Turmeric 1/2 tsp

Chicken (boneless) 500 g

Salt 1 tsp

Pepper 1/2 tsp

Chilli Powder 1 tsp

Curry Powder 1 tsp

Potato 2 medium

Tomato 3 nos

Maggi Real Coconut Milk Powder 2 1/2 cup

Carrot 1/2 cup

Green Chilli 3 nos

 

Method:

Pour oil into a pot along with cumin, cardamom, fenugreek and cinnamon.

Next, add garlic cloves, big onion, curry leaves and rampe.

After a good mix, add some turmeric, chicken, salt, pepper and chilli powder before mixing it again.

Proceed to add in the chopped potatoes and tomatoes.

Next, add 1 tbsp of Maggi Real Coconut Milk Powder to 1 cup of water and pour in the thin solution into the stew mixture.

When the mixture begins to boil, add in some carrots.

Once again, add 2 tbsp of Maggi Real Coconut Milk Powder to 1 cup of water and pour in the thick solution to the stew.

Top it off with green chillis.

Finally give it one last stir and serve while hot!
