Us Sri Lankans certainly love our rice, and since we’re always looking for ways to mix things up a bit, here’s a delicious and easy Prawn fried rice recipe!
Ingredients:
- Prawns 200g
- MeadowLea Margarine 1 tbsp
- Salt ¼ tsp
- Pepper 1/8 tsp
- Garlic 1 tbsp
- Ginger 1 tsp
- Spring onions ½ cup
- Carrots ½ cup
- Green peas ¼ cup (optional)
- Egg 1
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
- Boiled Basmathi rice 3 cups
Method:
1. Clean prawns
2. Heat pan and add MeadowLea margarine, and then add prawns, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
3. Add ginger and garlic, spring onion, carrots, green peas, and egg.
4. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the egg.
5. Add boiled rice and mix together well.
6. Season well.
