Marmite Chicken | Recipe

We turned this love-it-or-hate-it spread into a crispy, sticky flavour bomb you’ll want on repeat.

Ingredients
Boneless chicken 500g
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
Pepper 1 tsp
Egg 1 nos
Corn flour 1/4 cup
Marmite 1/4 cup
Dark soy sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
Oil 1 tsp
Garlic 4 cloves 

Method:

Chop chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

Crack in an egg, add corn flour, mix it all up and let it marinate for 20 minutes.

In a bowl, mix Marmite, dark soy sauce, sugar and oyster sauce. Mix it all together to make the sauce for the chicken.

Deep fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy.

In a hot pan, add oil and sauté chopped garlic. Then add the fried chicken and your Marmite sauce.

Give it a toss until every piece is glossy and coated.

Crispy. Sticky. Addictive.
