Cooking with Aunty D.
Enjoy a traditional homemade spicy Lankan dish, Here is the simple recipe for this traditional jaffna mutton curry, Go ahead and try it yourself!
Ingredients:
- Boneless Mutton Cubes 250g
- Onion 1
- Fortune Corn Oil 2 tbsp
- Cloves 4
- Cardamom 2
- Tomato 1
- Garlic 1 tsp
- Ginger 1 tbsp
- Salt 2 tsp
- Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
- Jaffna Curry Powder 1 tsp
- Curry Powder 1 tsp
- Green Chilli 2
- Saffron 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon 1 inch
- Coconut Milk 1 cup
- Curry Leaves
- Pandan
- Pepper
- Roasted Curry Powder 1 tsp
Method:
- Heat Fortune Corn Oil, Add Onion, Curry Leaves, Cloves, Cardamom, Tomato, Mutton, Ginger, Garlic, Salt, Garam Masala, Jaffna Curry Powder, Chilli, Saffron and Cinnamon.
- Let is cook 5-10 mins.
- Add 1 cup thick Coconut Milk.
- Cook 20 mins, finally add Roasted Curry Powder.
