Cooking with Aunty D.


Musket? Oh yes we know you all love this. And that’s why we’ve got for you, the way to maker it at home, all by yourself. At the end of the day, it’s musket! No one wants to share musket.

Ingredients:

  • Cornflour 200g
  • Water 100ml – 125ml
  • Sugar Syrup – Sugar 200g
  • Water  100ml
  • Lime Juice 1 tsp
  • Fortune Coconut Oil 1/2 cup
  • Cashew Nut
  • Red Colouring

Method:

  1. To make Sugar Syrup: add Water and Sugar into a pan and let it boil. Then reduce the heat and add Lemon Juice
  2. Mix cornflour with water
  3. Add Coconut Oil to a pan. Then add cornflour water mix. After that switch on the cooker and stir well
  4. Prevent forming lumps in your mixture
  5. When it thickens switch off the cooker. Then add Sugar syrup little by little and stir well
  6. If you feel there is less oil in your mixture you can add extra oil
  7. When its thick and not sticky in the pan, you can add colouring and Cashew nuts
  8. Keep 2 hours to cool and cut into pieces
