Mutton Curry

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 500 g
  • Onion 1 large
  • Ginger & garlic 1 tbsp
  • Fenugreek seeds ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon 1 inch
  • Mustard seeds ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Potato 1 big
  • Green chilies 2
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Curry powder 1 tsp
  • Pepper ¼ tsp
  • Salt 1/3 tsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tsp
  • Coconut milk 1 ½ cups
  • Tomato 1 big
  • Roasted curry powder (Kalu Kudu) ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves/rampa
  • Oil 2 tsp

 

Method:

1. Cut mutton into cubes
2. Heat oil in a pan and add onion, curry leaves/rampa, ginger & garlic, fenugreek seeds, cinnamon, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, and potato.
3. Then add mutton cubes.
4. Add green chilies, chili powder, curry powder, pepper, salt, and soy sauce.
5. Cook for 4 – 5 minutes
6. Then add coconut milk and tomato
7. Cover the lid and cook.
8. When you finish cooking, add roasted curry powder, coriander leaves, and switch the cooker off.
