Vegetable Pulau | Cooking with Aunty D

Oil or Ghee 1 Tbsp

Garam Masala 1/4 Tsp

Cloves and Cardamom 3 each

Cinnamon 1 inch

Bay Leaves 3 Nos

Cumin 1/2 Tsp

Onion 1 Large

Ginger and Garlic 1 Tbsp

Green Chilli 2 Nos

Potatoes 150g

Carrot 100g

Cauliflower 150g

Green Beans 100g

Peas 100g

Salt 1 Tsp

Garam Masala 1 Tsp


Curd 1/2 Cup

Soaked rice 1 1/2 Cups

Maggie Vegetable Soup Cube

Water 1 cup

Lime Juice 1 Tbsp


  1. Heat oil or ghee in a skillet
  2. Add Garam Masala, clove+cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves and cumin. Fry for 2 minutes and add chopped onion, ginger+garlic, green chilli. Mix well.
  3. Then add potato, carrot, cauliflower, green beans, peas, salt, garam masala (for the second time) coriander and curd. Mix well.
  4. Add soaked rice, Maggi vegetable soup cube and cover lid. Cook under low flame.
