Ingredients:
Kesel muwa (Banana Flower) 1 medium
Big Onion 2 small
Garlic 4 cloves
Curry Leaves + Rampe
Green Chilli 2 nos
Kochchi 3 nos
Fenugreek 1/2 tsp
Curry Powder 1 tsp
Chilli Powder 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1/4 tsp `
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
Thick Coconut Milk 1 cup
Thin Coconut Milk 1 1/2 cups
Goraka 2 cloves
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds 1/2 tsp
Maldives Fish 1 tsp
Method:
In a clay pot, add some Kesel Muwa, big onion, curry leaves + rampe, garlic, green chilli and kochchi.
Next add some fenugreek, curry powder, chilli powder, turmeric and salt into the pot.
Proceed to pour in thick coconut milk followed by thin coconut milk.
Mix all the ingredients to combine them well.
Transfer the clay pot to a wooden stove (dhara lipa) for the curry to cook.
Seal the pot and allow the curry to cook.
Once the curry begins to bubble, add some goraka and mix the curry once again.
In another pot, add some oil and begin to fry some garlic, mustard seeds, big onion, curry leaves + rampe and salt, while thoroughly mixing the ingredients together.
Next, add Maldivian fish and continue to saute the ingredients together.
Proceed to pour the kesel muwa curry into the fried vegetables.
Give it one final mix and serve while hot!
