Work hard until you don’t have to look at the price tag – that’s how the saying goes. It’s common for one to dream of a comfortable, convenient, and luxurious life without having to worry about his/her bank balance. In fact, most of us have a shared goal of wanting to secure financial freedom and afford any lifestyle to our heart’s desire. Practically speaking, however, it’s not as easy as it sounds.
Given the local context, many Sri Lankans are now wary of how much they spend, what they spend on and what value their purchases bring. With skyrocketing prices for various essentials, products, and services, it’s only natural that we are more likely to spend money on what we really need, rather than what we want.
But what’s the point if you don’t treat yourself to the finer things in life?
Thankfully, the modern world now has ample opportunities to make this dream a reality for many of us. For example, a credit card could be a very helpful financial tool when used responsibly and there’s nothing better than redeeming your Reward Points to purchase more goodies – free of charge!
In fact, here’s more good news for the locals. Standard Chartered Sri Lanka recently introduced a 360° Rewards Bonus Points Online Platform, enabling Sri Lankan clients to earn Rewards Points while they spend using their Standard Chartered credit card and redeem them online. This convenient platform will assist its valued clients to view, manage and redeem the accumulated points in a convenient and a systematic manner.
“At Standard Chartered, we are committed to bringing new experiences to our valued clients. With our new online 360 Rewards Redemption platform, our clients can now view and redeem their points at their convenience. There are many merchant partners ranging from dining, lodging, clothing and more to make the rewards experience that much more exciting. We look forward to engaging with our clients through this new platform to bring unique and customised redemption options,” states Aroshana Fernando, Head of Consumer, Private & Business Banking at Standard Chartered.
Why does it matter?
Well, not only do you get to manage your budget, but you are also rewarded points which can be redeemed at multiple merchant outlets ranging from Fashion & Clothing, Restaurants, Home & Decor, Electronic Stores, Health & Beauty, Hotels and Jewellery Stores. In case you do not have sufficient points for a redemption item, worry not! The programme also offers the flexibility of paying for the item partially via your Standard Chartered credit card. How great is that?
Further, the platform also provides e-vouchers and amazing deals at over 50 merchant partners.
And that’s not all, new offers and merchant partners are being added into the programme regularly!
What’s the catch?
Absolutely nothing! If you have a Standard Chartered credit card, this programme comes to you free of charge and you will be enrolled automatically – hassle-free!
