Add a spooky twist to your favourite comfort food! This Mushroom Skull Pasta is creamy, cheesy and just creepy enough for Halloween night.

Ingredients:
For the mushroom skulls –
Oil 1 tbsp
Button mushrooms 1 box
For the pasta –
B onion 1 medium
Garlic 5 cloves
Salt ½ tsp
Pepper ½ tsp
Cream ¾ tsp
Italian mixed herbs ½ tsp
Pasta water ½ cup
Mozzarella cheese ¼ cup
Boiled spaghetti 200 g
Method:
For the mushroom skulls –
Cut each button mushroom in half.
Using a straw, poke out two holes for the eyes.
Using a small knife make the nostrils and the teeth.
Heat oil in a pan and add your sliced mushrooms to the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes until it turns golden brown.
For the pasta –
In a separate pan over heat, add oil and sauté finely chopped onion and garlic.
Add salt, pepper, cream, Italian mixed herbs, pasta water, mozzarella cheese and mix to make a creamy sauce.
To that add the sautéed mushroom skulls and stir.
Next, add the boiled spaghetti and give it a mix.
Arrange the mushrooms neatly on top and serve.
And there you have it! A frightfully fun meal that’s as tasty as it looks and is for kids and big kids all alike!
