Enjoy this classic curry with rice, roti or a delicious combo of roast paan and pol sambol! Get cooking!
Ingredients:
- Dhal 150 g
- Red dry chillies 3
- Small red onions 4
- Maldive fish 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp
- Salt 1/3 tsp
- Green chilli 1
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Coconut milk 1 cup
- Curry leaves & rampa
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Roasted curry powder
Method:
- Wash and drain dhal.
- Heat a oil and add dry red chillies (cut into pieces).
- Then add small red onions, garlic, curry leaves & rampa, salt, turmeric,roasted curry powder and maldive fish.
- Add dhal and mix well with fried ingredients.
- Add green chilli and coconut milk. Cover with lid and cook.
