Here’s something new you can try this New Year! Get cooking!

Kiribath Ingredients:

  • Washed raw white rice 250 g
  • Water 1 1/2 cups
  • Thick coconut milk 2 cups
  • Salt 1 tsp

Kiribath Ingredients:

  • Scraped coconut 2 cups
  • Coconut treacle 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp

Kiribath Method:

  1. Wash and add water to the white rice and cook.
  2. Add thick coconut milk and salt. Cook for 20 minutes on a low flame.
  3. Imbul kiribath can be shaped as shown in the video.

Panipol Method:

  1. Add coconut treacle, salt, sugar and scraped coconut.
  2. Cook for 10-15 minutes on a very low flame.
