Ingredients:

Sugar 3/4 cup
Water 3 1/4 cups
Tapioca powder 1 cup
Ice cubes
Milk
Milo powder 1 tbsp
Vanilla ice cream 1 scoop

Method:

In a pan, add 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tbsp water. Stir continuously until the sugar turns into a golden caramel.

Then add tapioca powder to the caramelised sugar and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough well until smooth.

Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll them into tiny pearls.

In a saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Add your raw boba pearls and let them boil for 20-30 minutes until they turn translucent. Drain and set the pearls aside.

In another pan, caramelise 1/4 cup sugar with 3 tbsp water. Once caramelised, add the drained boba pearls and stir until coated in the sugar syrup.

Grab a glass and add a spoonful of your caramelised boba pearls at the bottom and brown sugar syrup to a glass. Then add some ice cubes, pour in your milk and sprinkle some Milo powder on top.

Optionally, you can also add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Stir it all together, sip and enjoy the perfect blend of chewy boba and creamy Milo goodness!
