Cooking with Aunty D.
Here’s a yummy Lankan curry you can enjoy bwith your rice! Get cooking!
Ingredients:
- Karavila 250 g
- Onion (small) 1
- Green chillies 3
- Capsicum (large) 1
- Tomato (large) 1
- Maldive fish 2 tsp
- Oil 2 tsp
- Chilli flakes 1 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Rampa & curry leaves
Method:
- Heat oil and add curry leaves, rampa, onion, garlic, maldive fish and turmeric powder.
- Then add sliced karavila (remove seeds), green chillies, tomato, salt and sugar. Then add chilli flakes and cook for about 5 minutes. Add capsicum.
- Cook for a further 5-10 minutes.
