Want to make some not-so-boring cookies? Here’s how you can make festive Milk Chocolate Nut Cookies! Get baking!
Ingredients:
- Lurpak Butter 170 g
- Lindt Excellence Extra Creamy Milk Chocolate (chopped) 100 g
- Sugar 150 g
- Maple syrup 2 tbsp
- Vanilla extract 2 tbsp
- Egg 1
- All purpose flour 300 g
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Chopped cashew nuts or almonds 30 g
Method:
- Beat Lurpak butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add maple syrup, vanilla extract and egg.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Then stir the mixture into the butter mixture. Add nuts and chopped chocolate.
- Separate the dough into two portions and roll into logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 6 hours.
- Then cut the dough into 6 mm slices and place on a baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 12-15 minutes until cookies begin to turn golden brown.
