Ingredients
- Milk 1 cup
- Cloves 4 nos
- Cinnamon 1/2 inch
- Ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp
- Eggs 2 nos
- Sugar 1/4 cup
- Whipping cream 1/4 cup
- Brandy 1/4 cup
Method
Pour the milk into a pot and add cinnamon, ground nutmeg and cloves. Then, heat gently until warm and fragrant.
In a bowl, beat egg yolks together with sugar until the mixture becomes a pale yellow.
Add the whipping cream to the egg yolk mixture and whisk again until combined.
Slowly pour the warm milk into the egg mixture while whisking continuously.
Add in brandy and give it a good mix.
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until they become light and foamy.
Gently fold the egg whites into the milk mixture, then stir in ground nutmeg.
Pour the eggnog into glasses and sprinkle a pinch of ground nutmeg over the top for that perfect festive touch.
